Steroid injection results from 2009 to 2018
Injections performed at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre in Oxford, and at the Great Western Hospital in Swindon.
We are currently collecting data on high volume injections for Achilles tendinopathy and hydrodilatation for frozen shoulder (adhesive capsuitis).
BLUE - average % reduction in pain from baseline at 1 week, 2 weeks, 1 month, and 3 months.
RED - skew = a negative skew means that the median % reduction in pain was greater than the average % reduction in pain (which could imply a better performance of the injection than a positive skew).
GREEN LINE - number of patients at each time point - there is less data at the 3 month time point, as collection of this data only started in 2018.
